Researchers have found another family and five new types of millipedes in the far off wildernesses of Tanzania in southeast Africa.
The millipedes were found while specialists were concentrating on tree and plant development in the Udzungwa Mountains in Tanzania, as per the College of the Daylight Coast in Australia.
Among the woodland litter and free soil, USC Teacher Andy Marshall said his group found the millipedes, whose heads he depicted as seeming to be Star Wars characters.
“We record millipedes of all sizes during our hands on work to quantify woodland recuperation since they are extraordinary marks of backwoods wellbeing, yet we didn’t understand the meaning of these species until the myriapodologists had evaluated our examples,” Marshall said.
He noticed that the newfound millipedes are a couple of centimeters long and had around 200 legs each.
The biggest African millipedes can grow up to 35 centimeters, or almost 14 inches
