Why it is important to drink a lot of water

Scientists have warned people not to drink alcohol before sleeping on a plane saying that the period when the plane is 8,000 feet in the air, oxygen levels and air pressure are lower than normal conditions in the world and that if all of these are mixed with alcohol and sleep, there is a greater possibility that oxygen levels in human blood will decrease and lead to heart diseases and challenges in the lungs according to a study published in the journal Thorax.

The researchers created an environment similar to the landscape in the plane for more than two days where 48 healthy adults slept for four hours, one time without taking any alcohol while the other time drinking two glasses of wine or beer and according to when it arrived at night the level of oxygen seemed to decrease. Those people had drunk alcohol and then slept while the heart rate also increased and also the ability to strengthening memory in the brain also decreased.

Researchers have also said that drinking coffee or energy drinks and staying without water for a long time is not correct due to the dry environment in the air while also the food provided at airports and in airplanes can contain salt and oil, so people should drink a lot of water.
